The Ultimate Guide to booking a Celebrity for your next Event
25 May 2023
Our Entertainment Sales Manager, Laura Goncalves sums up her ultimate guide for booking a celebrity.
Having a celebrity at your corporate event can be a great way to generate a buzz among your guests and can even lead to a boost in attendees. Whether it be a famous host, DJ, comedian or dance act; if they are a recognisable name, it’s a guaranteed way to create a great level of excitement. The entertainment is known to be one of the key elements that audiences remember for years after your event so we are on hand to help you create a memorable experience. When preparing your brief, a great place to start is to work out what type of act you would like.
CONSIDER THE TYPE OF EVENT
Keynote speakers are typically best placed at conferences, offsites and meetings. Whereas comedians and celebrity hosts are a perfect addition to any gala dinner or awards evening (a great photo opportunity for your award winners too!). Finally for after party events, you may want to consider having a celebrity DJ on the decks to get guests up and dancing the night away! Every event is different so once
you know the direction you are heading in, it’s then on to deciding who is going to be the best choice for your event in particular.
CONSIDER YOUR BUDGET
So the next step is to consider the budget you have available. The cost of booking a celebrity can vary
dramatically so once you have a clear idea in mind, this will help narrow down the choices on offer to keep the process simple and efficient.
WHO ARE YOU ENTERTAINING?
Another important factor to consider is the demographic of the audience you are looking to entertain. Think about the industries they work in, the age ranges, and also their experiences to ensure the chosen celebrity will suit all. This is particularly important if you are choosing to have an expert speaker.
